For oral use. Reconstitute the powder with boiled and cooled water as per instructions. Shake well before each use. Can be taken with or without food.

Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell lysis and death.

• •Hypersensitivity to cefixime or other cephalosporins
• •History of anaphylactic reactions to penicillin

Store unreconstituted powder below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Store reconstituted suspension in a refrigerator (2-8°C) and discard after 7-14 days.

Symptoms may include gastrointestinal distress (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea). Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. Gastric lavage may be considered. Hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is not effective in removing Cefixime.

Pregnancy Category B. Studies in animals have shown no evidence of harm to the fetus. Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Excreted in breast milk in small amounts; use with caution in breastfeeding mothers.
