Deflazacort is a corticosteroid used to treat various inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, and specifically Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Varies widely based on condition. For Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, typically 0.9 mg/kg/day. For other inflammatory conditions, initial doses might range from 6-90 mg/day, gradually tapered.
Elderly
Caution advised; lower doses may be considered due to increased sensitivity and risk of adverse effects.

How to Take
