Amoxicillin is a penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
250 mg to 500 mg every 8 hours, or 500 mg to 875 mg every 12 hours, depending on infection severity.
Elderly
Dosage adjustment may be necessary in severe renal impairment.

How to Take
May be taken with or without food. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.
