Bfill 100 mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
100 mg taken orally 2-3 times daily, or as directed by a physician. Max dose 300 mg/day.
Elderly
Lower initial dose may be considered due to potential reduced renal function. Monitor closely.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution; dose adjustment may be necessary. Not recommended for severe renal impairment.
How to Take
Take orally with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal upset. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, leading to a reduction in prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects.

Side Effects
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Bfill or other NSAIDs
- Active gastrointestinal bleeding or peptic ulcer

- Third trimester of pregnancy
- Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
Drug Interactions
Lithium
May increase plasma lithium levels.
Warfarin
May increase the risk of bleeding.
Diuretics
May reduce the natriuretic effect of diuretics.
ACE Inhibitors
May diminish the antihypertensive effect.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose
Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, lethargy, drowsiness. Severe overdose can lead to GI bleeding, hypotension, respiratory depression, and coma. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive, including gastric lavage and activated charcoal if presented within 1 hour of ingestion.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Not recommended in the third trimester due to risk of premature closure of ductus arteriosus. Use with caution during early pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed and benefits outweigh risks.
