Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
One 300 mg capsule every 6-8 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 capsules (1200 mg) in 24 hours.
Elderly
Initial dose should be lower, one 300 mg capsule every 8-12 hours, adjust based on response and tolerability.
Renal_impairment
Dose reduction may be required; consult a physician for guidance based on creatinine clearance.
How to Take
Administer orally with water, with or without food. Taking with food may reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.

Drug Interactions

ACE inhibitors
