• Emphasize early initiation of therapy (within 48 hours of symptom onset) for optimal efficacy.
• Advise patients on the importance of completing the full prescribed course of treatment.
• Counsel patients and caregivers about potential neuropsychiatric events, especially in pediatric patients, and to seek medical attention immediately if such symptoms occur.

Patient Guidelines

• Take the full course of medication as prescribed, even if you start to feel better.
• Begin treatment within 48 hours of symptom onset for best results.
• Flutavir is not a substitute for the annual flu vaccine.

Missed Dose Advice

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is within 2 hours of your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Driving Precautions

Oseltamivir may cause dizziness or lightheadedness in some individuals. Patients should be advised to assess their reaction to Flutavir before driving or operating machinery.

• Get plenty of rest and drink adequate fluids.
• Practice good hand hygiene and avoid close contact with others to prevent spreading the flu.
• Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
