Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Typical dosage for most infections: 500 mg once daily for 3 days, or 500 mg on day 1 followed by 250 mg once daily for 4 days. For certain STIs, a single 1g dose.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment is required in elderly patients with normal renal and hepatic function.
