Overview of the medicine
Alvolex 2 mg Syrup is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergy such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin itching and rashes. It contains Levocetirizine as its active ingredient.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
5 mg (12.5 ml syrup) once daily in the evening.
Elderly
Generally adult dosage, but dose adjustment may be needed based on renal function.
Renal_impairment
Dose adjustment required based on kidney function. Avoid in severe renal impairment.
How to Take
Take orally with or without food. It is preferable to take it in the evening.
