Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial 15 mg once daily, increased to 30 mg once daily after 1 week. Max 60 mg/day.
Elderly
Initial 15 mg once daily, monitor closely. Max 30 mg/day.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment needed for mild to moderate impairment. Use with caution in severe impairment.
How to Take
Take orally once daily, with or without food. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew.

Athena selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) by presynaptic neurons, thereby increasing the concentration of serotonin in the synaptic cleft.
