Cilnical 10 mg Tablet contains Cilnidipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker used to treat essential hypertension.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initially 5-10 mg once daily, adjusted based on response up to a maximum of 20 mg daily.
Elderly
Start with lower doses (e.g., 5 mg once daily) and titrate carefully.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment usually required for mild to moderate impairment. Use with caution in severe impairment.
How to Take
Oral. Take with or without food. Preferably at the same time each day.
Mechanism of Action
Cilnidipine blocks both L-type and N-type voltage-dependent calcium channels, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure.

Contraindications

Additive hypotensive effect.
Storage

Overdose
Symptoms may include marked hypotension and reflex tachycardia. Treatment is supportive and symptomatic; IV fluids and vasopressors may be needed.
