Within 1-2 hours
Excretion
Primarily excreted as metabolites in feces (approx. 60%) and urine (approx. 40%).
Half life
Approximately 5-8 hours

Lab Monitoring
- Blood pressure
- Heart rate
- Renal function tests (periodically)
Doctor Notes
- Cilnidipine, a unique N/L-type CCB, may offer benefits over L-type CCBs in certain patients, especially those with renal impairment or sympathetic overactivity. Monitor for ankle edema.
- Consider its dual calcium channel blocking action for broader cardiovascular benefits.
Patient Guidelines
- Take as directed by your doctor.
- Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor.
- Monitor blood pressure regularly.
Missed Dose Advice
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. Do not double the dose.
