Feel 10 mg Tablet contains an antidepressant agent used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, and panic disorder. It helps restore the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial dose 10 mg once daily, may be increased to 20 mg/day after 1 week based on response. Max 20 mg/day.
Elderly
Initial dose 5 mg once daily, may be increased cautiously to 10 mg/day. Max 10 mg/day.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment needed for mild to moderate impairment. Use with caution in severe impairment.
How to Take
Take orally once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew.
Mechanism of Action
Feel 10 mg acts by selectively inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin in the brain. This increases the concentration of serotonin in the synaptic cleft, thereby enhancing serotonergic neurotransmission and alleviating symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Side Effects
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any excipients
- Concomitant use with MAOIs (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors) or within 14 days of discontinuing MAOI treatment
- Concomitant use with pimozide
- Congenital long QT syndrome or acquired long QT interval
Drug Interactions
MAOIs
Risk of serotonin syndrome (hyperthermia, rigidity, myoclonus, autonomic instability, mental status changes).
Pimozide
Contraindicated due to potential QT prolongation.
SSRIs/SNRIs
Increased risk of serotonin syndrome when co-administered with other serotonergic agents.
Tramadol, Triptans
Increased risk of serotonin syndrome.
NSAIDs/Anticoagulants
Increased risk of bleeding.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose
Symptoms may include dizziness, tremor, nausea, vomiting, somnolence, tachycardia, seizures, and rarely, serotonin syndrome. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive; ensure airway patency, monitor cardiac and vital signs. Activated charcoal may be considered.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Neonates exposed to SSRIs in late pregnancy have developed complications. Excreted into breast milk; caution advised. Consult a doctor.
