Fix-A 200 mg Capsule contains Fixamycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
200 mg once daily, or 100 mg twice daily, for 5-7 days depending on the infection severity. Max 400 mg/day.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment required unless severe renal or hepatic impairment.
Renal_impairment
Mild to moderate: No adjustment. Severe (CrCl < 30 mL/min): Consider dose reduction or extended interval.
How to Take
Fix-A capsule should be taken orally with or without food. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew.

Fixamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby preventing bacterial growth and reproduction.
