Uses & Indications

Upper and lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis)

Skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., cellulitis, folliculitis)

Acute otitis media

Urogenital infections (e.g., urethritis, cervicitis)

Dosage

Adults

200 mg once daily, or 100 mg twice daily, for 5-7 days depending on the infection severity. Max 400 mg/day.

Elderly

No specific dose adjustment required unless severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Mild to moderate: No adjustment. Severe (CrCl < 30 mL/min): Consider dose reduction or extended interval.

How to Take
