Fluvate 50 mcg Nasal Spray contains Fluticasone Propionate, a corticosteroid used to treat and prevent symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and watery eyes. It works by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages.

Uses & Indications

Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children 4 years and older.

Non-allergic rhinitis.

Treatment of nasal polyps and associated symptoms in adults.

Dosage

Adults

For allergic rhinitis: Initially, 2 sprays per nostril once daily. May be reduced to 1 spray per nostril once daily once symptoms are controlled. For nasal polyps: 2 sprays per nostril twice daily.

Elderly

No dosage adjustment required.

Renal_impairment

No dosage adjustment is necessary due to negligible systemic absorption.

How to Take

Administer intranasally. Shake the bottle gently before use. Prime the pump before the first use and if it hasn't been used for several days. Clear nasal passages by gently blowing the nose. Tilt the head slightly forward, insert the nozzle into one nostril, aiming slightly away from the septum. Actuate the spray while sniffing gently. Repeat for the other nostril.
