Uses & Indications

Prevention and treatment of dehydration due to diarrhea

Rehydration after vomiting

Replenishment of fluids and electrolytes lost due to excessive sweating (e.g., during exercise, heat stroke)

Dosage

Adults

Dissolve 1 sachet in 250 ml of pure drinking water. Drink as much as the patient can tolerate until dehydration subsides. Usually 2-4 liters over 24 hours.

Elderly

Same as adult dosage, but monitor for fluid overload in patients with cardiac or renal issues.

Renal_impairment

Use with caution and monitor electrolyte levels, especially potassium and sodium.

How to Take
