For ophthalmic use only. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch, instill the drops without touching the eye with the dropper tip, and close the eye gently. Apply pressure to the inner corner of the eye for one minute to minimize systemic absorption.

Dexamethasone is a synthetic adrenocortical steroid that has anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inducing phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins).

• Viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva (e.g., Herpes simplex keratitis)
• Fungal diseases of ocular structures
• Mycobacterial infections of the eye
• Untreated purulent bacterial infections of the eye
• Hypersensitivity to any component of the medication

Store at room temperature (below 30°C). Protect from light. Do not freeze.

Topical ophthalmic overdose is unlikely to cause systemic toxicity due to minimal systemic absorption. If irritation occurs, flush the eye with water. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice.

Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Dexamethasone may pass into breast milk; use with caution in nursing mothers.
