Lab Monitoring

• No specific laboratory monitoring is required for patients using Lacrigel-G eye gel.

Doctor Notes

• Advise patients on proper instillation technique to minimize contamination and maximize efficacy.
• Remind patients that temporary blurred vision is common and to avoid driving until vision clears.
• Instruct patients to discontinue use and consult if severe eye pain, changes in vision, or continued redness/irritation occurs.

Patient Guidelines

• Wash hands thoroughly before application.
• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to your eye or any other surface to prevent contamination.
• Remove contact lenses before applying and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
• Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
• Discard 28 days after opening.

Missed Dose Advice

If a dose is missed, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.

Driving Precautions

Lacrigel-G may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after application. Patients should wait until their vision clears before driving or operating machinery.

Lifestyle Advice

• Avoid environments that exacerbate dry eyes, such as smoky or windy conditions, and prolonged screen time.
• Ensure adequate hydration by drinking plenty of fluids.
• Use a humidifier in dry indoor environments.
