Oral. May be taken with or without food. Taking with food may reduce gastrointestinal upset.

Replenishes magnesium stores; magnesium acts as a co-factor in over 300 enzymatic reactions, crucial for muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation. Orotate may enhance magnesium absorption.

• Hypersensitivity to magnesium or orotic acid
• Severe renal failure
• Heart block
• Myasthenia gravis

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flushing, lethargy, muscle weakness, hypotension, bradycardia, respiratory depression. Severe cases may lead to cardiac arrest. Management involves supportive care, intravenous fluids, and calcium gluconate if severe hypermagnesemia occurs.

Generally considered safe at recommended doses, but always consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
