Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections.

Dosage

Adults

General adult dosage (based on drug, not strictly suspension): 250-500 mg every 8 hours, or 500-875 mg every 12 hours depending on infection severity. For suspension, typically 10-20 ml (250-500 mg) every 8 hours.

Elderly

Similar to adults, but renal function should be considered and dosage adjusted if necessary.

How to Take
